Adventure Travel: Go Where the Wild Things Are

Written by Myrna Arroyo | Mar 19, 2018 3:00:00 PM

Some of my most memorable trips have been those to places where I've been able to observe wild animals in their natural habitats. Last year I was fortunate to experience the Galapagos Islands, Tanzania, South Africa and Antarctica.

I recently met with Natural Habitat Adventures at our annual travel agency retreat. They shared some great destinations with me and I wanted to share them. I think the style of travel Natural Habitat Adventures has provided for over 32 years could be just what you're looking for your next adventure.

Here are some of my favorites from their collection:

Close Encounters with Churchill’s Polar Bears

This four-minute video will give you an idea of what Natural Habitat's Polar Bear Trips are like, with some stunning footage from Churchill.

A Day in the Life of an Alaska Grizzly Guide

A five-minute video by Natural Habitat's grizzly bear, Drew Hamilton, with some amazing footage from our Alaska’s Coastal Grizzlies trip.

Adventures at Base Camp Greenland

This three minute video highlights one of the most isolated places on Earth, eastern Greenland, which offers an adventure unlike any other.
