Happy Holidays!

Written by Myrna Arroyo | Dec 26, 2019 4:30:00 PM

It’s shaping up to be another record-setting holiday season, with more than 115 million Americans expected to travel this week. Hanukkah is under way and will go until the evening of Dec. 30. Owing to the differences between the Hebrew lunar calendar and the Gregorian calendar, the Festival of Lights partially overlaps with the Christmas season. Many African-Americans will also be celebrating Kwanzaa this week.

It’s a time for family, for friends, for reflecting on the past year and taking a well-deserved break. Whether you’re heading off to somewhere tropical, catching the last of Europe’s Christmas markets or staying home in the frosty weather and dreaming of your next trip, we want to wish each and every one of you a joyous season. This has been our 50th year of helping make your travel dreams come true, and we are grateful to you for being such curious explorers, and we are very much looking forward to the next 50 years.

We can’t wait to see what adventures await us and you in 2020. The world has gotten so much smaller over the years, but we’re excited that there are still new frontiers to conquer -- including space, which could see its first tourists next year.

So eat, drink and be merry, and enjoy the holiday season with those you love the most. Wherever you’re headed, we wish you safe travels this week and in the new year.
