In this blog post, I will dig into the terms and conditions of each of these offerings so that you know exactly what you are getting when you book a Regent cruise.
As long as you use one of their gateways, Regent includes your roundtrip air in the price of your cruise. However, if you prefer to book your own flights, you can get an air credit from Regent. We recently published a blog post on Regent's air program which explains how the air program works in more detail.
If you book a Penthouse Suite or higher cabin category on one of Regent's European Voyages, your cruise fare includes business class air. Again, this is limited to the gateways serviced by Regent. Depending on your city, you may have to pay a supplemental air charge.
Regent offers free unlimited shore excursions in every port of call, which allows you to take advantage of as many excursions as your time and inclination allows. However, Regent also offers Regent Choice Excursions which are not free - these are more in depth and unique experiences and will require an additional charge. You can check out the available excursions for your cruise on the Regent website.
We typically recommend that our clients fly in at least one day before embarkation to allow some flexibility in case your flights are delayed or cancelled. When you book a suite in the Concierge category or above, Regent will include a free hotel night package the night before the cruise, along with all tranfers from the airport to the hotel and from the hotel to the ship. If you book a lower category, you can add the pre-cruise hotel night at an additional charge.
Specialty restaurants can enhance your dining experience on board, but many cruise lines impose a surcharge for dining in specialty restaurants. Regent does not. Reservations are required, and you can make these 75 days before sailing through your Regent online account.
Unlimited beverages, including premium spirits and fine wine, are included on all Regent cruises. You in-suite mini-bar will be replenished daily. If you are a wine connoisseur, there is a special list of wines available for an additional charge.
All pre-paid staff gratuities are include, which means you never have to worry about tipping on board.

Concierge Suites get 200 to 500 minutes of free WiFi depending on the length of the voyage.
All others may purchase an internet package or pay by the minute.
Transfers are included when you book your air and hotels through Regent. If you book your own air and pre-cruise hotels, you will forfeit the Regent included transfer service.
