2 Fabulous Family Attractions to Visit While in Florida

Florida wasn’t dubbed the “Sunshine State” randomly, no. It lives up to that name and owns it. The abundance of sunshine is just one out of hundreds of reasons tourists flock the state every holiday season (and even when it’s not holiday season!).

Sometimes, it’s hard to tell who frequents the state more; foreigners from countries thousands of miles away or visitors from neighboring states just a few hundred miles away.

What draws in such a large crowd, though? The beaches, maybe? Of course. The entertainment, perhaps? Definitely. A hope that a celebrity or two could be spotted? That’s actually the main reason we went there last year (yes, we’re not ashamed to admit it).

As a full service travel agency in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, we send many families to fun in the sun in Florida. So we understand how much fun can be had in Florida. That’s why we want to tell you all about it and why it would be a choice destination for your next family vacation.

We’re not going to talk about the beaches in Florida. Today, the rave will all be about 2 of its incredibly famous theme parks. The first is Universal Orlando, and this massive place is probably as close as you’ll ever come to being on a Hollywood movie set.

It literally looks and feels like a giant movie set, and walking around makes you feel as if you’re a director. The fact you’ll probably be carrying around a camera might as well be you gearing up to shoot a movie, and that adds to the fun and illusion too. We’re sure of this because it’s how we feel anytime we go there.

If Universal Orlando makes you feel as if you’re on a movie set, SeaWorld Orlando feels as if you’re inside a movie itself. To call the place magical would be a simple understatement.

Think about it… How many times have you been to a place where giant and ancient creatures of the deep are literally inches away from your fingertips? Sometimes, a wall of glass is the only barrier between you and them.

You are given an amazing opportunity to see, listen and appreciate the unique and awe-inspiring beauty cloaking these wonderful creatures. Dolphins, killer whales, sharks; SeaWorld Orlando has such a broad specie of sea animals it’s truly incredible. Who knows, maybe they even have megalodon hidden somewhere.

From the cutest and most timid animals swimming the ocean to mighty and fearsome rulers of the deep, SeaWorld has them all.

It’s the kind of place you enter with a smile and big, wonder-filled eyes. Those eyes will only keep getting bigger as you see and marvel at things you only ever saw on a TV or laptop screen.

Be sure you take a trip to both these theme parks when you land in Florida. It’s an experience you won’t forget anytime soon. Are you in need of theme park tickets, airline and hotel reservations? Please give us a call and let’s chat about your summer vacation to Florida.
