It is faster, super clean and quite safe. You need a reloadable card to ride and you can get those at Albrook terminal. The metro is a great way to avoid traffic but it does not go to all tourist destinations though.

It’s hot in Panama, but the sun is on a whole different level. Pack as much sunscreen as you can along with you. You’ll need it. Sunscreen is quite expensive in Panama so you do not want to run out and have to purchase one.
