Tours to Go on When You Visit Valle de Guadalupe, Mexico

Whether its red wines like Cabernet Sauvignon, Barbera, and Merlot; or whites like Chardonnay and Colombard, Valle de Guadalupe in Mexico has such an impressive collection of wins it’s staggering.

Valle de Guadalupe is Mexico’s most potent wine region. Every wine enthusiast should be enlightened on its existence; it’s your duty as a wine lover to visit this place, even if only once.

In addition to wine, there’s a plethora of activities awaiting you in Valle de Guadalupe. We’ll start off with wine tasting, then pick up from there. Try them in the order we list them or just do whatever catches your interest first. It’s your call.

· Wine Tasting

Yes, it wouldn’t be a place for wine lovers if wine tasting was not included, now, would it? You have the option of choosing not one and not two but SIX wine tastings! And for three days, you can enjoy tours around wineries of your choosing. Make a choice from vineyards that number into hundreds!

There is something called a Wine Pass that you can purchase. With it, you can even get recommendations to wineries based on your preferences via digital access. This option to ‘customize’ your search is a really neat little feature. The pass is valid for ninety days from the date of purchase, so make all those days count.

· Wine & Cheese Route Tour

Cheese tastes good on everything, doesn’t it? Well, it’s time you showed your gratitude by learning a bit about how artisanal cheese is made; right from how Holstein cows are milked at the stable all the way to the last processing stage.

The ranch, where the cows are reared, is owned by the Ramonetti family. They came in from Switzerland over a hundred years ago in the year 1911.

Enter the ranch and you will see ancient photos decorating its old walls. A guide will give you a brief history of the Ramonetti family and how their business became such a success. The tour will eventually lead you to a cheese cellar capable of storing over ten thousand pieces of cheese!

After all that comes the best part: You will be allowed to taste so many types of cheese and homemade bread that you can’t possibly eat everything you offered. And you’ll be served the sweetest wine to wash it all down. Does this sound like a tour you would want to miss? We think not.
