I've been here several times over the past few years, and it never disappoints. Coquette offers the best of New Orleans style fine dining in casual surroundings, and features a menu that changes daily. Many of their dishes feature home-grown seasonal produce from their garden, and I've never been disappointed here.
On my most recent visit we enjoyed shrimp and grits (photo below), and a trio of desserts, and paired everything with a sparkling Amztoi Txakolina Rubentis Rose, the perfect brunch wine for a warm day in New Orleans.

My tips for dining at Coquette in New Orleans:
- Brunch is fantastic, and a great value with three courses for $30.
- If you come for dinner, check out the five course tasting menu with paired wines and be surprised by what the chef cooks up for you.
- Make reservations, they can sometimes be hard to get into if you just walk in.
- Save time to take a stroll down Magazine Street either before or after dinner, it's a charming location near the Garden District of New Orleans and Lafayette Cemetery.
